Removing ads and annoying pop ups from the Spotify app (in windows)

I’m sure you all know and hate those pesky, loud and unwanted ads in the Spotify app. Well here’s how to remove them. (It’s really quite simple)

Go to this link, and under the ‘usual installation’ toggle, and click ‘install.bat’

Download the ‘Uninstall.bat’ too in case you need it later.

Once you have both downloaded, run ‘install.bat’. This should close Spotify (if it is open) and ask you a series of questions and requirements. Select the options to your choosing, and in a short while the patch should be installed. Do not install this patch if you don’t feel safe.

Once the installation is complete, open Spotify, and you should be greeted with a completely add free experience. Enjoy!
